Core Creative Receives Top Honors at Clarion Awards

Core Creative Inc. received  the Association for Women in Communications' highest honor, the Pinnacle Award or "Best in Show", as well as a first place Clarion award for the Walk a Mile in Her Shoes Presented by Verizon Wireless campaign in the Public Relations/Non-profit at the Eleventh Annual Clarion Awards Banquet. Award winners were recognized on April 17 at the Wisconsin Club in Milwaukee.

Walk a Mile in Her Shoes Presented by Verizon Wireless is a unique men's march that invites members of the community to literally walk a mile in women's shoes to raise funds for programs that help those affected by domestic violence. The campaign was designed to raise participation in the march while educating the community about the negative effects of domestic violence.

Core Creative also received a Merit award in the Community Relations/Service Campaign category for its work on the Verizon Wireless HopeLine® campaign. The campaign was developed to increase awareness surrounding Verizon Wireless' HopeLine program, which collects no longer-used wireless phones, recycles or refurbishes them, with the proceeds going to support local domestic violence agencies.                            
The Clarion Awards annually recognize excellence and innovative communication ideas in various categories including advertising, marketing, public relations, journalism, interactive media and graphic design.
