Core Creative was named a Corporate Citizen Awards finalist in BizTimes Media’s inaugural Nonprofit Excellence Awards for its work serving Broadscope Disability Services.

The In-Kind Supporter category focuses on the impact southeastern Wisconsin businesses and nonprofits have on the community and acknowledges companies that give their time and talents to community causes through non-financial contributions.broadscope

“We are thrilled for the recognition, and want to turn the spotlight onto Broadscope Disability Services for the amazing support they provide to the people of southeast Wisconsin,” said Beth Crivello-Wagner, vice president of client services, Core Creative. “We are so fortunate to be able to share our time and talent with organizations like Broadscope and will continue to share our good fortune with those who need us. And kudos to BizTimes for highlighting the important work nonprofits are doing in our community. They are vital to strengthening the fabric of our society.”

Core was recognized for their work serving Broadscope Disability Services – formerly United Cerebral Palsy of Southeastern Wisconsin. Crivello-Wagner, who serves on the board of directors for the organization, led a team from Core, Broadscope and others within their network of board members. Together, they conducted brand development exercises that led to the organization’s name change. They refined the brand for Broadscope Disability Services and delivered an entirely new identity that truly conveys who they are – allowing Broadscope to continue serving anyone living within a broad spectrum of disabilities.

In addition to the newly developed brand, logo and identifying materials, Core created a new website for Broadscope, which can be found at

“A website for an organization like Broadscope should be demonstrative of their mission and easy to use, while providing a clear path to accessing services and making donations,” said Charles Collins, digital services director, Core Creative. “Together, we were able to achieve that.”

Recently, Crivello-Wagner wrote about the need to ensure brands have a purpose to strengthen their bond with their audiences.
