Sharing spots in our neighborhood to enjoy the weather with a beverage in hand
Look out patio season; here we come! Spring is in the air and that means warmer temps, less layers, more sunshine and most importantly, patio dining and drinking.
We’ve called Walker’s Point home for almost six years now and there is no shortage of incredible spots to sit outside and enjoy yourself. But if you’ve never ventured down this way, or haven’t gotten a chance to explore, here is a handy list to get started:
The Yard at the Iron Horse – This patio oozes cool and just begs to be Instagrammed. They also have the best cheese curds in the city and trust me; I’ve put in the research to feel confident in that statement.
Fuel Café 5th Street – Fuel Café has a new location on 5th street and you better believe it is rad. With a killer happy hour on drinks and apps, it’s hard not to want to spend every happy hour here. There is a beautiful little patio in front, but if the weather is disagreeable, inside is great here too.
O’Lydia’s – Looking to grab some food before a Brewers game after work? O’lydia’s has got you covered. Even better, they also have a shuttle that can take you there and back if you buy a drink, don’t forget to tip your driver!
La Merenda – Looking to nosh on delicious tapas on the most charming patio with a delightful cocktail in hand? Look no further than La Merenda.
The Twisted Fisherman Crab Shack – Want to spend time on a patio and forget you’re in Milwaukee for a little while? Well you’re in luck! Check out the Twisted Fisherman to get your seafood and coastal vibes fix. They also have regular live music if that’s your jam.
See you on the patio!
