The end of life is an emotional topic for loved ones and family, especially when it comes to the subject of hospice care. Valley Health System, located in northern New Jersey, offers extensive healthcare services, including hospice care. While its care for patients is superb — providing comfort and stability for families and patients — Valley faces increased competition in its marketplace. Valley needed to make sure its community knew about the resources available to them for hospice care.
Core developed a campaign to assure individuals that with Valley Hospice, they can expect to live in a comfortable, caring environment with professionals who will meet their personal needs. We developed the “You Matter” campaign, which promises that each patient’s life, family, friends and memories truly matter. Valley helps patients and loved ones find the care they need for the last months, weeks and days of life because every patient matters. With services built around each unique patient, that was a differentiator in a crowded marketplace.
To communicate Valley’s mission, we created a series of print ads, a direct mail piece and implemented SEM. All of these tactics lead to an informative landing page experience, where researchers can watch an impassioned video outlining the program and scan FAQ videos to answer more specific questions. It includes a prompt to call or submit a form to inquire about services or visit with staff.
Our strategic approach detailed clearly how Valley Hospice serves its community, increasing the number of patients finding peace during the finals months of life.
