Using clarity and consistency to increase nonprofit engagement.
Our Strengthened by Community campaign increased awareness of pulmonary hypertension resources among patients and healthcare providers.
Improving content clarity and accessibility, we redesigned the Pulmonary Hypertension Associate website to build trust among patients and professionals.
After collaborating with Core on a successful awareness campaign, Pulmonary Hypertension Association (PHA) recognized the need to bring their outdated website up to modern standards. With overwhelming content, complex navigation and a user experience that didn’t reflect the organization’s credibility, PHA approached us to redesign their website to better serve patients, caregivers and healthcare professionals alike.
Starting with a strategic homepage refresh, we led the visual and UX redesign and color direction before expanding to the full site and collaborating with our development partners at Reason One to enhance accessibility.
We went on to design over 20 pages and 50 unique components for both desktop and mobile users — ensuring every interaction felt purposeful, welcoming and aligned with PHA’s mission. A modernized color palette brought warmth and humanity, while smart visual hierarchy and structure made critical information easier to access.
The redesigned site is set to launch in November 2025, and early feedback from staff and stakeholders has been enthusiastic. Described by our PHA partners as “inviting,” “thoughtful,” and “on trend,” the new site strikes a balance between organizational heritage and forward-looking design — positioning the organization to better support its community of patients and healthcare professionals moving forward.
